About Elif Burgaz:
Elif is a composer, singer-songwriter, and pianist based in Barcelona, originally from İzmir, Turkey. As a child, she composed songs even before learning to play an instrument. She completed her composition education with honours after classical piano training. After moving to Barcelona, she introduced her first EP, "Dreamwalker," in November 2020. Produced by Edu Martinez, the EP featured songs she had accumulated over the years. Her songs, presented with a melancholic and sincere expression both as a lyricist and a composer, attained a rich musical background with the piano taking the lead role, complemented by strings, Turkish percussions, drums, vibraphone, horn, ney, and synthesizer touches. While classical and cinematic music influences are prominent in her style, traces of her home country's music can also be felt.
